okay. basically im just gonna type out roughly what lainey and i have said today!
class spirit and class bonding:
dear one oh fourers, i think we havent been cherishing the past 9 months of being together. now it's already week three of term four! and i really think we should do something about it! look at 204! they're so bonded! and i really admire them for their class spirit!
i think cliques are a major problem in our class. i know that some people may have attitudes we may not like, but we do have to put in effort to tolerate them. because that's the only way we can become a bonded class.
also, i feel we should not ostrasise certain people in class. i know most of us are guilty of doing so. but i hope we can all try to change that. because i know what it feels like, to be in a way 'rejected' from everyone else. in primary school, although i seemed to have many friends, it was always a+b+me. c+d+me. and stuff like that. so as i floated from one group to another, i never really became close to my other two friends. however while i went with another group, the other two became closer. so basically i was always left out.
because of this, when i moved on to secondary school, i wanted to change that fact, and become more outspoken and give my opinions. if you guys can remember, i was hi-fiving everyone during orientation (: lol. yes it was lame. so i hope you guys can be more outspoken too. or in a way give your opinions. i think our class should be more democratic. for example the class service learning project, a large number of you guys merely just sat there and did what everyone else was doing, or worse, doing nothing at all. i think lainey and lyn and many others have really learnt what it's like to be doing things not for the sake of ourselves and earn cip hours, but to really help others in need out there and i really admire their great attitude. all in all we should really REALLY put in more effort in class activities. because a teeny number of us have sacrificed a lot for doing things the whole class is supposed to be involved in! such as, skipping tuition and cca etc. we need to do something about our class spirit baby.!
if you want others to understand you, you have to make an effort to understand others too. you cant say oh, this person has a blardy bad ap. so we make her feel like an outcast. sometimes we just have to put that pettyness aside because we meet different kinds of people later in our lives and we cant just ignore them. do make an effort to smile and say hi or something. it can really make a difference. as they always say, having a friend is better than making an enemy.
yeah. the netball carnival's coming up. and this is one of the last activities we can have together as a class other than the class play! i really hope that we can put in effort for this thing yes?

by the way, lainey and i decided to go up to talk to you guys because firstly, elaine typed a post on our class spirit on her blog few weeks before and i merely added on to it so yay! inspired by lainey (:
